Antique Persian Serab Runner

An antique Persian rug in runner format from the Serab village handmade in the early 20th century. The light camel brown colored field employs twelve sawtooth lozenge medallions, with no two color patterns matching, and with similarly diverse triangle side fillers. This village runner was woven on a narrow loom by a single artisan with a fine color sense. Shades of green, rust, brown, and purple populate the color palette.
