Antique Persian Serab Runner

This is a rare, relatively narrow, antique Hamadan runner with a wide plain border in camel tone wool. Five small ivory medallions and fractional side elements decorate the closely patterned red field. This runner is unusually narrow. It is single wefted, distinguishing it from the double-wefted Serabs with the same camel colorings.
