An antique Persian Senneh carpet. Large enough to carpet all of Kurdistan, the abrashed field of this giant Kurdish Capet has an infinitely repeating Herati allover pattern on an artistically abashed field ranging from beige to pale blue-grey. The brick red narrow main border shows reversing turtle palmettes, some with attractive yellow details. This antique carpet must be one of the largest Sennehs ever woven.
