Antique Persian Tabriz Carpet

An antique Persian Tabriz carpet. Leaves, leaves, leaves.  Long rough-edged ones at the ends of the field. Small leaves growing from the springing arabesques everywhere. Thin, springy leaves. This carpet is a take-off on the in-and-out palmette Indo-Persian classic pattern, complete with cloud bands. Of course, the red is mellow. A classic carpet with a complex, neat design.
