Antique Persian Tabriz Carpet

An antique Persian Tabriz carpet. A giant tile pattern in 17^th century Kerman style displays ivory, pale blue and red reserves with various centered and asymmetrical flower, plant and palmette arrangements, some cruciform, accented in yellow and orange-yellow. The wine-brown main border features palmettes accented in a crisp medium blue on this boldly drawn, out-of-the-ordinary NW Persian city room size carpet.
