An antique Persian Tabriz Hagi Jalili rug. The pair to 17518, the book cover layout features extended ivory-beige corners matching a gently scalloped elliptical medallion. Flowers are everywhere and the central four palmettes cruciform motif matches those in the field corners. A finely woven, well-executed ruglet from the desirable ‘Hajji Jalili’ period of Tabriz weaving.
