Antique Persian Tabriz Hagi Jalili rug

An antique Persian Tabriz Hagi Jalili carpet. This finely woven antique Tabriz scatter has a layered cusped red medallion with a camel inner stellate motif, set on a yellow-ivory field with an up-and-down lotus palmette row pattern. The brown border displays a dense palmette and leafy vine design. This is a very professionally executed Tabriz scatter from the desirable ‘Hajji Jalili’ period of the late 19^th century.
