An antique Persian Tabriz Hagi Jalili rug. From the desirable late 19^th century ‘Hajji Jalili’ period in Tabriz, this ruglet displays a book cover pattern with a slightly pinched red field centered by a filigree ivory medallion and pendants and en- suite corners, set within a triple border system including a central navy stripe with rosettes and recurved acanthus leaves.
