An antique Turkish Oushak rug. The tan-brown field displays a cartouche shaped beige subfield with tall, rust brown medallion. At each field, an end is a panel with stepped crenellations. The tonally en suite border alternates outline floral hexagon panels with sunburst rosettes. Maybe Ghiordes in origin.
