A vintage Indian Lahore rug. Eight columns of attractively colored and abrashed square sections, totally fill the field of this abstract modernist Indian scatter.  The blue squares tend to cluster in the lower half and a distinctly warmer palette occurs above. The tones are welcoming and variegated, and there is no flatness or monotonicity to any panel.
