Vintage Persian Malayer Runner

Seven distinct modules of four sparsely fringed sickle leaves, rosettes and little botehs flank the sides of a central pole of conjoint open, fringed diamonds, in a general Herati style on the slate ground. Straw, strip-style main border of reversing schematic fingered and ragged palmettes on a smooth meander. Cotton ground weave, medium knotting, west Persian rustic work in good condition.
