Vintage Moroccan Accent Rug

A wool pile of Moroccan knots on a cotton foundation. The major tones in this potpourri of design scatter are near black, cerulean blue, and rust. The upper third features a bold diamond lattice pattern, with various lozenge-shaped panels below, separated by narrow strips adorned with repeating small geometric, quasi-calligraphic patterns. Partial side borders with lozenges complete the design. It's a rug that's hard to describe but easy to enjoy, with a very long, fluffy pile.
