This rare polychrome example of a tripartite weft-striped NW Persian flatweave shows wandering lines in lemon, goldenrod, cerulean, pale blue, and teal, in addition to the usual charcoal, brown and sandy-beige tones. The weaver was using whatever yarn came to hand rather than following a fixed plan. And this piece is all the better for it. Good condition. Vintage. Backed.
