A vintage Persian Hamadan rug. Not a 9’ by 12’ Heriz, but a small west Persian rural scatter with a red field boldly decorated with angular vines and flowers, and centered by a 16 lobed and pointed navy medallion with an ivory octogramme palmette sub-medallion. Triangular floral ivory corners. Two minor borders are diagonally striped in ivory, goldenrod, red and blue. There are a few white cotton accent points.
