Vintage Persian Hamadan Rug

A vintage Persian Hamadan rug. A tall, narrow rose-brown medallion with budding palmette secondary pendants is matched by the quarter corners on the black flower-filled field. The dark blue and white sub-medallion is particularly vigorous. The black main border of this well-woven west Persian scatter displays a stretched meander and palmette pattern. Chrome yellow and pale blue are important detail field colors.
