Vintage Persian Hamadan Runner

A vintage Persian Hamadan runner. The light blue diamond field lattice displays arrays of four small, color matched diamonds in each larger cell. These small assemblages are detailed in ecru, red, orange, yellow, straw and darker blue, and form irregular rows, diagonals, triangles, and other shapes, in this well-woven long rug with a saturated, crisp palette and a narrow ivory border with fan palmettes. The pattern does not repeat in any direction.
