A vintage Persian Heriz carpet. From Mehriban village in the Heriz weaving district, the tomato red field is centered on a small rayed lozenge and displays a generous selection of geometric leaves and palmettes in the unique Heriz style. The navy border displays a thick, broadly undulating vine with attached palmettes and floral sprays. The vibrant colors are all natural.
