A vintage Persian Kashan Modernist rug. Step back and a polychrome diagonal basket-weave pattern emerges out of the welter of small lozenges. The ultra-colorful pattern of this well-woven urban scatter is in ivory, beige, cerulean, orange, orange-red, cardinal red, green, dark blue and salmon. The hairline border of this well-woven urban scatter is more of a convention than an actual contributor to the design.
