Vintage Persian Malayer Rug

A vintagee Persian Malayer rug. The well-abrashed slate field displays a section of a large scale stepped lattice with full and half elaborate central rosettes detailed in rust, camel and ivory-beige. The wine brown main border aligns small colorful hexagons closely side to side or end to end. Although the field is close to neutral, the color scheme is generally rich and well thought-out.
