Vintage Persian Malayer Rug

A vintage Persian Malayer rug. We love this type of Malayer scatter (see, for example rug # 23481 and rug # 23483) and here is a striking example with jagged, bent leaves accented in dark brown, on a light blue-grey ground. The sand border shows very broad brown vine meanders sprouting fringed palmettes. More rust, less orange on this example.
