Vintage Persian Malayer Room Size Carpet

A two-level vinery is laid on the brown field and is anchored by a subtle central column of ragged rosettes, ragged palmettes and cartouches. Serrated lazy two-armed rectangles and more rosette, palmettes and leaves give an impression of lush vegetation. Cream/Straw main border with barbed and pointed leaves sheltering reversing palmettes. Medium weave, good condition. Probably urban Malayer work.
