The closely abrashed slate field shows pairs of jaunty birds among the lattice with two types of reserves: one type for larger, reversing palmettes; and a smaller for the fowl. Rust, rust-red and pale blue details. Straw strip-style border with two types of ragged reversing triangular palmettes. Good condition for this unusual west Persian medium weave scatter.
