Vintage Persian Malayer Runner

A vintage Persian Malayer runner. The well-abrashed field in brown shades displays an eight-module pole medallion in which each section is defined by a pair of large serrated leaves set in a ‘V’ and enclosing a small rosette and stem array. Tiny domestic birds have settled in the design interstices. Dogs, birds, and flowers adorn the pale blue-grey border.
