Vintage Persian Malayer Runner

A vintage Persian Malayer runner. Runners are like the three bears. Some are long enough, but too wide, while others are properly narrow but too short. This brown ground west Persian rustic kenare (runner) is just right. The abrashed graphite field is covered by a repeating, single column Herati pattern with sand and rust accents.  The old ivory main border features progressive flowers with goldenrod details. Perfect size. Perfectly versatile.
