A vintage Persian Malayer runner. An ivory turtle border, detailed in goldenrod, pale green, pale blue-grey and brick, frames the light blue-grey field with an allover Herati pattern accented in goldenrod and dark brown. The border tends to visually advance as the field steps back on this west Persian rustic kenare (runner), giving a depth to the composition.
