Vintage Persian Malayer Runner

A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. This distinctly Malayer pattern on a pale grey field features partitioned stars, squares, octagons, boldly serrated leaves, hexagons, and open standing lozenges, all rendered in a semi-geometric style. The light brown border displays serrated leaves and “belt buckle” motifs.
