Vintage Persian Malayer Runner

A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. Thirteen mostly complete offset rows of geometric, left-facing floriated botehs decorate the slate field, with a few herringbone bushes added along the sides. The straw strip-style main border features octagonal, simplified turtle palmettes, along with boteh leaves and rosettes.
