We love Persian Mashad rugs with light grounds and delicate allover floral patterns. No spiral arabesques here, but lots of fish leaves, numerous palmette styles, and many tiny rosettes.  The palmettes and botehs (paisley design) of the ivory border are slightly larger in scale than the field devices.
