Vintage Persian Shiraz Bag Face

A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. The crimson field presents a peculiar quadruped with a long, squared beard, elongated bent horns, and striated ears, its coat decorated with a zigzag pattern. An additional animal, a quincunx, and a lazy S occupy the upper right area. A straw and pale blue triangle border frames the composition. Braided black-and-white tassel cords extend below, terminating in wool puff tassels in blues, red, rust, and golden ochre. The braided hanging cord and other finishes remain intact.
