Vintage Persian Square Textile

Wool pattern warps and wefts in a warp- and weft-faced plainweave. This North Woods lumberjack plaid employs shades of red and near black, with color mixing achieved through twill and herringbone techniques. The four panels show some offsetting, and one end is concave. Qashghai work. Suitable for pillows, wall decoration in a cabin, furniture upholstery, or as a blanket in a dogsled.
