Wool pattern warps and wefts in a warp/weft-faced plainweave. This near-black and old-ivory toned cover presents stripes of varying widths, some unguarded and others edged on one or both sides by thin lines. An engaging offset rhythm develops between the wider and narrower stripes. Essentially two-toned, with subtle tonal mixing introduced through the herringbone and twill sections. Qashghai work.
