Vintage Persian Square Textile

Wool pattern warps and wefts in a warp- and weft-faced plainweave. The panels are offset, as are the light verticals within each. Guard lines surround each small square. Suitable for four 2½-foot square pillows, an ethnic bedcover or wall hanging, or eight narrow cushions. Twill and herringbone color mixing of basic cream, navy, and red. Qashghai work.
