A vintage Persian Tabriz carpet from the mid-20th century in room size format. Layers upon layers of the identically scaled Herati design on grounds of slate-green, ivory, and turquoise fill the hexagonal subfield, field, medallion, pendants, and corners of this NW Persian well woven city carpet. The crisp light blue and soft orange details of the turtle border are particularly eye-catching.
