Vintage Persian Textile

Wool pattern warps and wefts on a warp- and weft-faced plainweave. This very large Qashghai quadripartite moj shows an almost perfectly aligned chessboard pattern in beige and dark brown. All small squares, bars, and columns are defined by thin guard lines. A few marks of use attest to authenticity. The original band 29 feet long.
