Vintage Turkish Anatolian Accent Rug

A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. This rustic scatter rug displays a Navajo-inspired pattern of vertical zigzags alternating in deep rust-red to burgundy and ecru to ivory, enclosed by a narrow burgundy border. The design is vertically balanced, although the stripes vary in width, particularly one along the left side. At the left, the border merges seamlessly into a series of burgundy triangular motifs.
