Vintage Turkish Anatolian Room Size Carpet

A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. The open buff field displays three linked, abrashed pale green octogrammes forming a pole medallion. The piece has a general aesthetic related to Kazak rugs from the same region, but rendered here in a larger format. An ecru strip-style border shows a double chain of diamonds along the sides and single chains at the ends.
