A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. This boldly drawn Kazak-style kellegi (long rug) presents three dark brown cruciform medallions set on stepped hexagonal rust-red grounds, with khaki triangular fillers at the sides and corners. An inner border in the Anatolian manner features oblique color bars, while the main border, on a beige ground, displays a rough trapezoidal meander in the Turkmen style.
