The well-abrashed green field of this south Caucasian-style town rug has a unified field and border tone which exhibits related openwork vine, flower and leaf designs in shades of teal, slate, and beige. The look is almost 1920s Art Deco although it was woven recently. The Turkish weavers were inspired by Caucasian Karabagh carpets.
