Vintage Turkish Anatolian Runner

A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. The pale ivory to wheat-beige field displays five beveled square medallions resembling Salor Turkmen guls, rendered in soft ochre, sand, taupe, muted slate-grey, pale brown, and traces of dark navy-blue, each centered by a rosette. Floral quatrefoils in taupe, grey-brown, and pale ochre are aligned near the field edges. Borders appear only at the ends, featuring Kufesque designs of brackets and stars in slate-grey, dark blue, beige, and brown.
