Vintage Turkish Anatolian Runner

A wool pile of symmetric knots on a wool foundation. Eleven similar hooked lozenges extend along the faded dusty-salmon to pale-terracotta field of this kilim-style pile kenareh, rendered in ivory, beige, taupe, soft brown, and charcoal. Secondary jagged hourglass motifs fill the intervening spaces and are repeated in the sand-to-warm-ivory main border. Slight but visible reduction at the ends.
