Vintage Turkish Flatweave Kilim Room Size Carpet

Wool pattern warps and wefts on a wool foundation. This six-band cover is decorated primarily with short ladder stripes in ecru, taupe, dark brown, royal blue, light blue, violet, green, ochre, and rust red. Several sections also feature vertical lines and fine pinstripes, including a red-striped panel at the lower left and a broad ivory panel with dark brown lines near the right. The bands vary considerably in width, with one especially broad panel.
