A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The four-panel field is influenced by the Achaemenid reliefs at Persepolis. The two upper panels depict a king in combat with a fantastic winged creature and with a wild horse. The lower two sections show human-headed bulls, both plain and winged, set against stone block steles. An old-gold main border carries a chain of calligraphic cartouches expatiating on the imagery.
