An antique Caucasian Karabagh runner. Maybe Karabagh, but more likely eastern Caucasian from the Kuba/Shirvan region with a hexagonal lattice on a beige ground. Lattices of this type are much more likely to follow the eastern Caucasian approach to field patterning. The outer border of discrete stars is also found on Shirvan rugs.
