An antique Caucasian Kazak rug. Two columns of eight Memling guls each in ivory, three blues, gold, straw and brown-black neatly fill the field of this south Caucasian high pile scatter. A bit dark for a true Kazak, this attractive rug may have been woven somewhat to the east in the adjoining Karabagh region. Regardless, it is a true antique with a wide color range.
