A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a cotton foundation. The field is entirely covered by a three-by-five array of squares, each panel displaying a rug-mat or chair-seat medallion pattern. Two of the panels depict single deer within roundels. A graphite-toned main border features a T-fret pattern, while the minor borders are rendered as bundled narrow lines or grainy squares.
