An antique Indian Lahore carpet. A floral lozenge lattice on this northern Indian workshop carpet organizes the royal blue allover field pattern with more flowers in and around the central diamond elements borrowed from the Persian Herati design. The red border shows off the two-way turtle palmettes. The jewel tone colors are rich and saturated much like a Dabir Kashan.
