The end-pointed navy/black field of this west Persian village kenare (runner) shows twelve tabbed and colorfully striped rectangles, with sketchy flower and tiny birds attending. The rust red corner spandrels are filled with flowers and birds. Main cream border with “bugs” in a wide variety of colors. Cotton foundation, moderate-medium weave. Good condition. Extensive natural dye palette. Versatile length and width. Authentic rustic kenare (runner).
