The slate grey field shows a succession of extended and symmetrized palmettes, with supporting cream vinery, large sickle leaves, and rosettes. Tulips radiate obliquely from each major device and carnations flower in the field. The rust to dusty rose border of botehs (paisleys), squares, and round palmettes are all on a wiry meander.
