An antique Persian Serab rug. The camel-tone field displays a one-way pattern of geometric, large, ascending flowers in a broad serrated hexagonal lattice.  The narrow borders are similarly ornamented with rosette and tilted bar patterns. The attractive design is popular with Kurdish and Turkish weavers alike in many areas of northwest Persia.
