An antique Serab rug from the early 20th century in runner size format. This Kurdish village rug displays a hexagonal lattice in three columns with large, bug-like palmettes on a camel brown field. The tonally matching main border has detached octagons. The brown is sheep wool dyed with walnut husks rather than camel hair.
